Maya Raihal

Maya joined Westkin in October 2025 as a Legal Assistant on Bethannie Cooper’s team, following the completion of her MA Law (conversion).

During her studies, she completed a dissertation examining the asylum process for LGBTQIA+ individuals, further developing her interest in immigration law.

Since joining the firm, she has assisted on a variety of immigration matters, with a particular focus on naturalisation and spouse visa applications. She provides a structured, efficient and calm approach across her work, ensuring that matters are handled with care and attention to detail.

Maya is excited to continue developing her legal career at Westkin and to expand her knowledge and experience within immigration law.

Outside of work, Maya’s hobbies include jewellery making, attending live music events, and reading.
