Joshua began his career in immigration law in 2022. He joined Westkin Associates in February 2026 as a legal assistant on Michael Marziano’s team and is training towards an IAA accreditation.

Originally from Hong Kong and Singapore, Josh holds a BA in Philosophy and Politics from Durham University.
Having emigrated to the UK in 2021 from Hong Kong, he decided to pursue a career in law and started working in immigration law in 2022.
Josh completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law in 2022. He then passed SQE1 whilst on an apprenticeship with a boutique immigration law firm and now is pursuing an IAA qualification, with a view to specialising as an immigration caseworker as part of Michael’s team.
He has experience with various categories of family visa applications, applications to register and naturalise as British and visit visa applications. He was also previously involved with preparations for immigration appeals and Judicial Review.
Josh is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese.
